The Clean Devon campaign is coming to Croyde Beach – and we’ll be there!

With the summer months approaching, we’re all looking forward to spending more time on the beach. But with more people comes the risk of increasing litter on our beautiful coastline.

On Monday 29 May, we are joining North Devon Council and Parkdean Resorts’ Ruda Holiday Park to take part in a community beach clean at Croyde Beach as part of the ‘Our Beach is a Clean Beach’ Clean Devon campaign

The campaign aims to raise awareness about the impact of littering on our coastlines and to encourage people to do their part in keeping our beaches clean.

The event starts at 10am at the main beach entrance. There is free parking for beach cleaners and ice creams for everyone completing the clean! If you have equipment please bring it with you.

Many thanks to the volunteers from our Ocean Explorers group who helped Ruda’s beach rangers to paint these fantastic surfboard signs in preparation for the event!
