Actions to date:
Plastic bags have been replaced by paper bags
Coffee cups have been replaced by compostable alternatives.
Offering a 10p discount if you bring your own cup.
Replaced Fruit Shoots with cartons and will be encouraging customers to push the straw inside so it doesn't get into the environment.
No longer gives out straws unless a customer asks. Using old stock up then will be replaced by paper and compostable alternatives.
Only using Vegware takeaway containers
Only uses metal cutlery.
Using up stock of plastic ice cream spoons and then replacing them with PLA alternative
Signed up to Refill Devon Scheme.
Working on:
Replacing takeaway containers with Vegware alternative.
Placing a water container in the shop for customers to help themselves.
Researching into Recycling companies to start ASAP.
