About the walk:
We will explore the world of medicinal and herbal plants across Braunton Burrows to discover and learn about the medical properties of some of the local flora.
Walk leaders, medicinal plant specialist Keith Shawe and local ecologist Mary Breeds will lead you on a comprehensive walk across the Braunton Burrows looking at the different plant species that can be used beneficially in everyday use.
This walk will follow various paths across the sand dunes so be prepared for up and down hill and walking in long grass. Please wear sensible footwear, preferably walking boots and bring a sun hat, sun cream and water, and weather appropriate clothing. The walk is suitable for able bodies individuals.
