We know that being outdoors can hugely benefit our mental health by relieving stress and improving our happiness, and this campaign is about encouraging people to do just that whilst giving back to the environment at the same time.

If you have any questions, email info@plasticfreenorthdevon.org at least 48 hours before the event to give us time to respond.

👉Please note:
We are not a professional repair service, so please don’t bring us ‘fancy’ repairs like wedding dresses. If you are unsure on whether to bring an item or not - please email info@plasticfreenorthdevon.org and we will run it by our sewing stars to see what we can do.

💸 This is a FREE service! Donations are welcome but not expected.

💚 We'd love it if you could stay whilst we repair your items, our cafes are about building community connection and sharing skills too.

📆UPCOMING REPAIR CAFES & SKILLS WORKSHOPS📆
• Friday 8th November

👀Keep and eye on our What’s On calendar for updates on what we can repair at each event, our new skills workshops (coming soon) and other Repair Cafes throughout North Devon

🙋‍♀️VOLUNTEER WITH US🙋‍♀️
We are always on the lookout for a few more volunteers, either to share their mending skills at the Cafes or to help out behind the scenes and welcome people on the day. You don’t need to be a professional seamstress or upholsterer or mechanic to volunteer - just someone with some basic skills who is happy to share what they know or a friendly welcoming face to help run the event. There is no pressure to undertake any repairs that you are not confident with.
Please get in touch with us on info@plasticfreenorthdevon.org if you would like to get involved.
