If you have any questions, email info@earthrepairshop.org at least 48 hours before the event to give us time to respond.

👉Please note:

☕The cafe will be open serving cake and hot drinks, should you wish to purchase, but there is no pressure or expectation to buy.

💸 This is a FREE service! Donations are welcome but not expected.

Landkey Repair Cafe

Join the repair revolution! 🌍💚

If you have something which needs a minor repair, bring it along and our skilled volunteers will mend it. This is a free service (although donations are always welcome).

Come along anytime between 10am and 1pm

👖If you have a pair of jeans in need of a new zip, a skirt that needs hemming, curtains that could do with shortening, we can help! Or perhaps you have a jumper in need of darning, a shirt missing a button or a top with a tear? Bring it along! Our volunteers will be happy to look at it. Please bring with you the zip or button etc. that you’d like to be used.

We also aim to offer:

🔌Small electrical repairs such as radios, headphones, cameras

🪚Minor carpentry repairs

However, as we rely on the help of volunteers, sometimes we may only be able to offer sewing repairs - please email us at least 48 hours before the event (to give us a chance to see your message and get back to you) to ask if a particular item can be repaired.

We are not a professional repair service, so would not be able to take on any large or complex repairs such as fitting a wedding dress for example. If you are unsure whether to bring an item please email us and we’ll see what we can do.

☕The cafe will be serving cakes and hot drinks, should you wish to buy any, but there is no obligation.

Can't make this one?

📆Our Landkey Repair Cafe is currently held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month or there are repair cafes in other towns which are listed in this What’s On Guide.

VOLUNTEER WITH US

If you have useful repair skills and would like to help out with our cafes, we’d love to hear from you. If you could help out behind the scenes and welcome people on the day

Please email info@plasticfreenorthdevon.org if you would like to get involved.

THANKS AND PLANS

Our Landkey Repair Cafe is a partnership project, part of Plastic Free North Devon’s expanding Repair Cafe network, hosted by Willow's Tearoom, with the support of volunteers from the local community.

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Together For Our Planet Community Fund, and the support of North Devon towns and villages, we currently have Repair cafes in Landkey, Braunton, South Molton, Ilfracombe, and Barnstaple.

If you are interested in setting up or becoming involved with a Repair Cafe in your own town or village, please email us at info@plasticfreenorthdevon.org.
